This research aims to determine Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of sunscreen creams sold in Northeastern border land. Twenty brands of sunscreen creams : A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T were determined. SPF value was calculated from percent transmittance by UV – Visible spectrophotometer. Results showed that SPF value of all sunscreen creams were lower than SPF value on their label. Sunscreen cream E had the highest SPF value on experiment (26.57) when label was 40. Sunscreen cream J had the lowest SPF value on experiment (1.56) when label was 30. Eighteen kinds of sunscreen creams showed highest percentage blocking on UVC. Sunscreen cream C showed highest percentage blocking on UVB. Sunscreen cream N showed highest percentage blocking on UV. All sunscreen creams had lowest percentage blocking on UVA.
