Growth of antagonistic fungi on chemical pesticide mixed with Potato Dextrose Agar
The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of chemicals that influence on growth of antagonistic fungi Gliocladium virens and Trichoderma harzianum. Fungi were inoculated on the combination of PDA and the chemicals that use as pesticides which were Propineb, Prochloraz, Carboxin,Sulfur, Emamectic benzoate, Propiconazole+Diphenoconazole , Mancozeb, Carbendazim. Three doses were tested which composed of maximum, minimum and 25 percent of minimum recommendation dose compare with control (PDA). Following the method, the growths were measured by diameter of fungus. The effect of treatments Propineb, Sulfur, Emamectic benzoateและ and Mancozeb on Gliocladium virens,. in the part of Trichoderma harzianum, inorganic and Emamectic benzoate show same result as in control. In other hand, this study could be applied in integrated pest control for decreasing expense, chemical amount and residue.
