Anthocyanins found in leaves have been found to play various important roles in different plants. The interesting role is photoprotection. This work was to study the effect of different light intensities on plant growth and anthocyanin content in Ocimum sanctum leaves. Fourty-day old seedlings were exposed to natural light intensity (100%) and low light intensity (20%). Anthocyanin level was extracted every 5-day for 25 days. This study is not complete.
